Custom Memory Box Frame – Four Cast Layout
This spacious shadowbox frame fits a full set of 4 casts, (both hands and both feet) with room for 1–3 photos, keepsakes, and a wooden name (not included). A beautiful way to create a heartfelt display. 
 
Each frame is handmade to your chosen specs, so you can mix and match the moulding, matboards, depth, glass, and nameplate to suit your style and budget. Perfect for pro lifecasters, home hobbyists, or anyone finally ready to frame those DIY casts gathering dust on the mantel.

Choosing the right frame size
It’s always a good idea to lay your casts out on a table and measure them against the sizes listed above to see what will fit comfortably in the frame window. The listed sizes indicate glass size, the space in which your casts will be seen. These sizes are best suited for two baby casts (from newborn to around 6 months).
Need a slightly different size? You can request a glass size increase of up to 5cm in either direction at no extra cost. Just leave a note with your required glass size in the Additional Information box. For anything beyond that, our larger frame listings will have you covered

Choosing your frame moulding
Refer to product photos and note the name of your chosen frame moulding in the Additional Information box.
Boxed mouldings come with their own built-in shadow box and sit flush to the wall. They're simple, clean, and available in 30-35mm and 45mm depths. Please note Pine, Rimu, Walnut, Black & White are only available in 30mm depth. Ash, Teak & Oak are available at 35mm depth. While Ebony and Ivory are available at 45mm depths.
Classic and Premium mouldings are wider in style and require a separate box fitted to the back. This allows for extra depth, with options in 30mm, 45mm and 60mm. These styles give a more traditional or decorative look, depending on your space. 

Notes on frame depth
Before selecting your depth, check how thick your casts are. If needed, you can sand the backs down gently to help them sit flatter. If you're unsure, it's safest to go a little deeper. Better to have too much space than not enough.

Choosing your matboard colours
You’ll find example colours in the product photos.
Single Matboards come as standard and include one mat in front (against the glass) and one in back (behind your casts). You can choose the same colour for both, or mix and match. Let us know your front mat colour and your back mat colour in the Additional Information box.
Double Matboards add a coloured trim behind each single mat for a subtle pop of contrast and colour. The trim is around 5mm wide and peeks out just behind the front and/or back mat windows, giving a beautiful layered, custom look. It's ideal for adding interest to white or neutral mats without overwhelming the frame with too much bold colour. Because your baby’s not joining the circus - and neither is your frame. But hey, if you’re feeling hot pink and neon green... go for it. It’s going on your wall, not mine! Just let us know which colour you'd like as the main mats, and which as the 5mm trim behind it in the Additional Information box.
*If no preference is given, we’ll use Real White and/or Smooth Black as our default.

Glass type
Standard Float Glass is included — it’s clear, strong, and gives a classic finish to your frame.
For a premium look, upgrade to AR70 Anti-Reflective Art Glass. It reduces glare and reflection, making your casts easier to see from any angle, and offers 70% UV protection to help preserve your keepsakes for years to come. Add this option if you want a premium, gallery-quality finish that's virtually invisible.

Name Plates
Our custom name plates are made using dye-sublimation on aluminium with an adhesive backing, so you can position them exactly where you like.
They’re available in gold or silver, in three sizes:
Small: 20 x 70mm - best suited 1-2 lines of writing such as Name & DOB
Medium: 25 x 80mm - best suited for longer names, and up to 3 lines of writing ie Name, DOB & Age
Large: 30 x 100mm - best suited for Full Names, DOB, Age + space for a short message or quote
