Key Uses:
 
Silicone Mould Two-Part Support Shell: Create a solid structure to support and lock in a silicone mould, ideal for reproduction casting, ensuring accuracy and durability.
 
Pregnancy Belly and Torso Casting: Apply directly to skin, layering 3-4 layers thick, to achieve a solid cast that takes on the shape of your subject. This is perfect for pregnancy casts, and as a medical-grade product, it’s gentle on skin.
 
Layup Mould Support: For torso and face casting, apply a thin layer of alginate followed by Gypsona plaster gauze. This creates a solid backing to retain the mould’s shape and detail during the casting process.
 
Memorial Casting Support Shell: For casts that require support in small spaces where a container can't fit, especially in casket situations, a drop cloth can be placed underneath hands, followed by an alginate layer about 1 inch thick and then Gypsona bandages. This technique holds the mould’s shape once hands are removed and works well for family hand wreath casts, where multiple people hold each other’s wrists.
 
How to Use: Simply dip bandage in warm or hot water to soak through, wring out excess water, and layer over your model, smoothing plaster between layers. Sets to a solid structure in 5-10 minutes, depending on water temperature. Rolls may be used whole or cut to long strips and doubled over.
